Gina Allison, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN physician and surgeon in the Tualatin office of Northwest Gynecology Center. She grew up in Renton, Washington and attended the University of Washington on a full academic scholarship for her bachelor’s degree in women’s studies. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her residency in OB/GYN at OSHU.

Dr. Allison provides gynecology and preventative health care to women of all ages. Her specialties include vulvovaginal disorders, such as vulvar dermatologic problems, itching, pain with intercourse, vulvar lesions, recurrent vulvar/vaginal infections and vulvodynia, as well as sexuality/sexual dysfunction, menopause and minimally invasive surgery. She works to gain the trust and confidence of her patients needed to successfully address these health issues—both complicated and routine—which can have a dramatic impact on a woman’s quality of life and sexuality. In addition to her education, training and experience as an OB/GYN physician and surgeon, she has completed a special program of advanced study in vulvar health at OHSU. She is also a member of the National Vulvodynia Association, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the North American Chapter of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Diseases and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

When not at work, Dr. Allison enjoys hiking, backpacking, telemark skiing, running, cooking, and growing vegetables. She is married and has three children.
