Robert D. Moore, D.O.

Dr. Moore is the Co-Director of the Atlanta Center for Laparoscopic Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, Atlanta Medical Research Institute and the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of Atlanta. He is an internationally recognized surgeon who has operated on patients from all over the US and the world. He is widely known throughout the world for his pioneering techniques in minimally invasive vaginal reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Miklos' Credentials

Dr. Miklos is the Director of the Atlanta Urogynecology Associates, Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of Atlanta Medical Research Institute. He completed his 4 year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hahnemann University in 1993, followed with a 2 year fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Vaginal Surgery in Cincinnati , Ohio and then completed 2 more years in advanced Laparoscopic and minimally invasive reconstructive vaginal surgery in 1997. Dr. Miklos has 4 more years of vaginal surgery training than the average gynecologist in the USA. In 2002, he pursued his interest in vaginal aesthetic surgery and vaginal rejuvenation under the supervision of pioneering surgeon Dr. David Matlock of Beverly Hills. Dr. Miklos was one of the first gynecologists and the very first urogynecologist in the country to be trained in the subspecialty of vaginal rejuvenation. Dr. Miklos co-authored THE BOOK OF VAGINAL REJUVENATION.

Dr. Moore is a board certified gynecologist who has subspecialty training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (2 years), Radical Pelvic Surgery (1 yr) Laparoscopic Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery (1 year) and Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation. His subspecialty training in laser vaginal rejuvenation was done in Beverly Hills under the supervision of pioneering surgeon Dr. David Matlock.

Dr. Moore maintains several national and international faculty and teaching appointments. He is a fellow of the International College of Surgeons, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member in good standing with American Urogynecology Society, American Urology Association, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy, and Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons. He is currently the Principal Investigator in 2 major studies in the U.S. on new incontinence and vaginal reconstructive techniques, leading centers from Harvard, Cleveland Clinic and others. He has authored more than 75 scientific journal articles, book chapters and abstracts and is an internationally recognized lecturer and pelvic surgeon. Traveling more than 100,000 miles per year, he and Dr Miklos work together to continue the pursuit of surgical purity and success. Dr. Moore is an internationally recognized authority in minimally invasive and laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstruction and vaginal reconstructive surgery.

INSURANCE COVERAGE: Unlike most vaginal rejuvenation practices Dr. Miklos encourages the use of insurance for coverage of their condition if and ONLY IF they have a medically known condition. Dr Miklos encourages the use of medical insurance which will usually cover most of the costs of the anesthesiologists, operating room and an overnight stay in the hospital and usually SOME OF THE SURGEON FEES. Dr Miklos is NOT managed care participants and thus are considered out of network with most insurance companies.

Listen up!! Ladies, with Labia Reduction/Revisions becoming more popular, keep in mind that not all doctors know what they are doing, and can ruin your for life. Please be careful when choosing a doctor. Remember, you can't put back what is gone. I have experienced this first hand, and would not want anyone to encounter the devastation that I have suffered. About Our Facility


Office Building	Reception

We perform our surgeries in a hospital operating room or in a much more private outpatient surgical center. Though on rare occasions patients will request we do it in the office, however we explain to them that to get my best results we prefer to do the surgery in a surgical suite an operating room.
