Dr. Michelle Owens is Board Certified in Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Starting in 2014, Dr. Owens began training in facial cosmetic procedures including facial fat transfer and facial and neck rejuvenation with Thermitight. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She has been in private practice in Crowley, Louisiana since 1999. She received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Owens was chosen to serve as Chief Resident of the Gynecology department from 1998-1999. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Diplomat of the Board of Gynecology.
Dr. Owens prides herself on taking the time to get to know her patients and thoroughly addressing their needs and concerns. She understands that choosing a healthcare provider is one of the most important decisions one can make. Not only is she knowledgeable, caring and accessible, she is willing to take the time to go over all options and treat each individual as a person, not just a patient. Her special interests are in laparoscopic, pelvic floor reconstruction and incontinence surgery, as well as helping her patients improve their appearance with the use of Botox and dermal fillers.
Providing surgical cures for gynecologic conditions has been one of Dr. Owens proficiencies. Most patients want minimal scars and minimal down time. Therefore, Dr. Owens always attempts to perform surgeries in the most benign fashion possible. She is one of the first gynecologists in Crowley to focus on minimally invasive procedures both in the hospital and office. She routinely performs endometrial ablations and permanent birth control under local anesthesia in the office as well as robotic laparoscopic hysterectomies as an outpatient surgery.
Dr. Owens makes her home in Crowley with her husband and two children. Not only does she enjoy spending time with her family and traveling, she also enjoys establishing a continuum of care with her patients and building lifelong relationships with them and their families. She is proud to be a part of making a difference in her community.
Fees for cosmetic surgery are generally not covered by insurance. A detailed quote for your proposed surgery will be provided after your in-office consultation. The consultation fee is free. Payment for cosmetic surgery is due in advance. We accept all forms of payment including cash, checks, debit card and Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Financing is also available through Prosper Healthcare Lending and CareCredit.
DEPOSIT AND WHEN PAYMENT IS DUE: To schedule and hold a cosmetic surgery or procedure, a nonrefundable $200.00 deposit is required. This amount is deducted from the total surgery fee. Payment for your procedure is due in by your preoperative appointment prior to your surgery date. We provide a number of payment options which may be used individually or combined according to your needs.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that a situation may arise that could force you to reschedule, postpone or cancel your surgery or procedure. Please understand that such changes affect not only your surgeon, but other patients as well. We appreciate your courtesy.
- If you completely cancel your surgery more than 15 days in advance, we will refund all monies except for the original nonrefundable deposit of $200, which will be applied to the payment for your rescheduled surgery or procedure.
- If you cancel between 7 – 14 days, we will refund all monies except for the original nonrefundable deposit of $200 plus an additional $1000 for a total of $1200. The $200 may be applied to the payment for your rescheduled surgery but the $1000 is forfeited.
- If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the scheduled surgery, the entire fee will be kept for the inconvenience.
- We will also withhold 5% if you paid with a credit card for processing fees we are charged by these companies.
